Avengers Endgame: Encore 3 hr. 05 min.

This is a special theatrical re-release of the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, arriving in cinemas on September 25, 2026, ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. The Encore version adds about four minutes of new footage to the original 181-minute runtime, bringing the total to roughly 185 minutes. The new material includes an opening sequence and a post-credits scene that directly connects to the story of Avengers: Doomsday. Director Joe Russo has described the re-release as a "critical companion story" and a bridge between Endgame and the upcoming film. Some existing scenes have also been visually updated, with fans noticing richer color grading and a minor change to one of Tony Stark's lines. The film is being shown in five different formats: Standard, IMAX, Infinity Vision, ScreenX, and 4DX. The new Doomsday post-credits scene is only included in IMAX and Infinity Vision-certified screenings, while the standard version still gets the new opening and added footage. The returning cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
